Part of my ongoing and seemingly never ending collection around rooftops, الأزرق والأبيض marks my first album from Tunis, Tunisia and probably my last one on rooftops for a while as I intend to return to ground level. Living here, I am surrounded by things to photograph, document, draw, and collect on a daily basis, but, looking up as I do often, I was caught up in the unique sky they have here. As in Cityscape, I found the meeting point between the sky and each rooftop to be an important and visually captivating place. Here, with the characteristic white buildings and the thick, uniform blue of the sky, I felt that more than I have before.

When looking at these, consider the Blue and the White on the same plane, as though painted onto the image at the same time. The blue sky just as tangible and close as the building.
